all good - what graphics card do you reccomend - my only issues with my current setup are occasional crashes when I use Flight 1 ATR or wilco 737 and when changing from cockpit view to oustide view it shudders for a couple of seconds, so basicly it is slow to load graphics.
when everything is going im getting great FPS its just those small issues
so if you could reccomend a good graphics card for my system it would be great
will search T/Me
is DDR3'All things are possible to him that believes'

Budget - no more than $400

To be honest mate I'd just stick with what you have, it SHOULD behave ok until you save enough $$$ to splash out on a brand new rig.
One thing though, you mention you have a portable drive, is that your only source of storage? ie where is FSX and in particular the scenery stored? if its on an external then that could be most of your performance problem. You might be better of spending $150 or so a a new internal HDD, maybe even an SSD, and transfer FSX to that.Deans repaints: http://www.deeknow.com/

That'll make a big difference I reckon, especially re scenery load times and when switching views etcDeans repaints: http://www.deeknow.com/
