Heli Development Eurocopter AS 350 B3 Ecureuil for Flight Simulator 2004
The Eurocopter AS 350 Ecureuil B3 is the “high performanceâ€￾ version of the single-engine “Ecureuilâ€￾ range. Over 800 helicopters have been delivered all around the world since the helicopter entered in service in 1997.
Powered by a Turbomeca Arriel 2B turbine engine equipped with the FADEC system, the AS 350 B3 helicopter has been designed to match highly demanding missions such as
operations in mountains areas or hot countries. Its design calls for widespread use of composite materials (airframe, main rotor, blades...).
On the instrument panel, the pilot benefits from the VEMD (Vehicle and Engine Multifunction Display): a new generation of integrated instrumentation which allows him to see at a glance the main vehicle and engine parameters on a dual LCD screen.
Thanks to these innovations, the AS 350 B3 offers the operators high performances with safety and a reduced pilot workload.
Heli Development AS 350 Ecureuil B3 package includes five variants:
Passenger transport
Fire fighting
Heli-skiing
Aerial work
Off-shore
Updates with other models and textures will be available in the future for free. Some of the features:
Accurate and detailed interior and exterior visual models and textures
Customized exterior and interior animations
Realistic sound setup
Realistic starting procedure
Reflective and shiny textures
Fully clickable dynamic virtual cockpit, completely flyable form the virtual cockpit
2D panels
PDF Flight Manual, Installation Manual and Paint Kit[/quote]

Well i went on a whim and got this anyway , i found so far that it does to some point work fine in FSX with out to many mods ,well i havent done anything yet to it and im happy with it ,,im not sure about the cold starts but it does have away around it ..the rotor textures are ok in fsx but a replacment of that should work sweet ,there are two gauges in the centre of the console that are black or shiny with alpha channels

all in all i think this is one hell of a chopper and would be great for FS9 and once im done with it should be fine for FSX with very little to have to do ...

8/10 but fully fsx i would say it would be 9 and a half /10

Yes this b3 is payware so it means going to simmarket.com or there mother site which will be linked from simmarket and buy it for your simulator version ,it is only been made for fs2004 but will port over with some things not working to flight sim X ie like two gauges in the centre and the rotor textures need changing ,there is i think a fsx model of the same chopper being released maybe this year from the company which did the 2004 version .
