Thanks for that ... just reminded me I need to reinstall F4AF on my Win7 system winkyy.gif ... it's been a *long* time!

UPDATE: Well ... I installed F4AF then the 1.0.13 patch (not the mod, yet) ... but get massive video corruption when trying to run it. This is with an nVidia GTX260 with the latest drivers.

What's the current best source for F4AF related info (there used to be so many!)?

Sorted the GFX issue. I had to turn off T&L. Now all I have to do is set up my stick for all those keyboard commands that I've long since forgotten!

For your joystick I reccomend the following:

Heres some info on just how to use the Cougar to its fullest potential.

So with the TMS and DMS setup as per the above pictures the TMS right switches between A/A radar modes, DMS Left and right changes the MFD pages and Uncage allows for the JHCMs to be used in conjunction with the Aim 9X to lock and launch off boresight upto 90 degrees.( very good if you have trakir) All this you can do in Falcon 4 Allied Forces and in fact in Open Falcon you can do even more since OF has a data link in more detail you can use the functions to send TGT data and cursor location between other aircraft in the flight or package. BTW Cougar plus Trakir equals a deadly combination as the DGFT switch is on your TQS puts the radar straight into ACM mode, TMS UP engages Auto Aquisition and from there you just lock and launch.

I haven't managed to test the Skunkworks mod just yet so I'm uncertain of its features but I'll post an update when I get the chance.

This is great thanks, I am new to Falcon 4 (bought 2nd hand on TMe) and have had a few problems with the HOTAS I bought with it. I had to get a few connections soldered - from what I can see the Foxy software is where I need to make the change, as currently only a few buttons work (programmed). Is there a default programme? Or do I need to programme it myself?

Thanks

Is it worth doing updates?

I don't program profiles instead I map each button individually in the setup which works quite well.
