FCS?....normally their stuff is pretty good...ie , Wellington, and Hurricane....

Can't judge upon their Wimpy, but their Hurricane really dissappointed me. I bought the boxed version and came across the Robert Sanderson freeware 'Cane a little later ... never used the FCS version since then!
Just some other €uros down the drain...

The Sunderland might not be one the most elegant flying boats, but this flying boiler looks ridiculous!

Cheers,
Markus.

I wont be getting anything from these clowns again. To call themselves 'First Class' is a bit of an exaggeration. Their Lancaster was abysmal, didn't even have a visible tail section from the VC, amongst a whole raft of other issues, and no reply from them when questioned about it. For a Brit company they should be tried for sedition for sabotaging such legendary British icons wink.gif

Scrub man, and Markus.....i concede......as much as i hate to slag off anyone's work.....i agree. (with your comments on the FCS product)

The Robert Sanderson Hurricane is just magic, and way ahead of its time when released....and the Lanc...well, i thought the externals where nice and the vc was good for screening. I guess it depends on how immersed you are in the f/s world.

But, if you are going to charge for a product, then it should be 100%....or at least offer a reasonable excuse for why it isnt.

This hobby (flightsim) , is hypercritical (not hypocritical) of many aspects of simming....and rightfully so.....a lot of hard earned cash is thrown at this virtual world we enjoy....so , you would think the people who charge for their products would look at whats acceptable by the f/s community , and adjust. (Some sites that charge you to download freeware also #### me off)

I spent some time with Ian Warren this afternoon, and saw the packaging for the Sunderland.....and to be honest , its misleading advertising (my opinion....So sue me) nothing like the flying brick wall you actually get.

So far he (Ian) has had no response from the company....just like you Scrubcutter....so , like you guys, I'll give this crowd a wide berth from now on.

Yeah, I hate to run down developers in such a difficult and narrow market but they haven't done themselves any favours. At least we have other great developers like A2A, VRS, Carenado, Capt Sim, etc etc to compensate for the shoddy ones! thumbup1.gif

Jeez Ian you know how to upset me - was still recovering from your January presentation of this aircraft and you bring it up again!!!!
We certainly have a mixture of Mk111 and MarkV's in the review. I like the last pic showing ASV6 domes under the wings as well as the old ASV amtenna on the fuselage in front of the tailplane. It didn't happen that way!!!!!
