Do you know whats up with this forum, I have had trouble loggin on for the last week or two?

Yeah i did read over there that the forum was going offline and that a blog or something was going to maybe replace it , ,hope all info that was posted over there was not lost and can be injected into its next home whenever that may be ..
I suppose we have visitors for a little while ..

Well as many of you will know the forum was down for three weeks or so while Invisionplus sorted out their issues. Unfortunately this all happened without warning so we were unable to advise you this was going to happen. As you will also know some months ago we had a similar outage though it only lasted about a week. As you can imagine these types of outages are hugely frustrating for everyone, and we know forum use took a hit as a result.

The reality is that while it's been a great couple of years its now time to move on as we simply cannot sustain outages like those we have experienced in the last few months. The ARNZX forum currently hosted on Invisionplus will cease to exist as of midnight August 31st. In its place will be a new forum hosted directly by www.flightsim.co.nz using php2 technology.

The new forum is live already at www.flightsim.co.nz/FORUM as we have been working on it for a couple of weeks already. We will use the time we have between now and close down to copy tutes and other key topics across. We will not be transferring your posts.

This is effectively a new start, and with that comes new opportunities. We would like to formally invite you to join us on the new forum.

Thanks and apologies once again for the ongoing issues we have had.
