I think I know what bennz means.
If you've ever watched , say, a B1900d start up, you'll notice that as the captain flicks on the start swith (ie the ignition) the propeller turns as the engine starts up (when you hear the familiar whine) and by the time fuel is connected, the propeller is already spinning at a relative rate.
In the sim, for every turboprop including such addons such as the PMDG 1900d, when you click on this ignition switch you hear a whine but the engines don't start spinning - until fuel is connected and the engine sparks into life spinning very quickly suddenly.
The jet engines are done correctly, spining as the ignition is turned on and it keeps spinning as fuel is connected etc.
I must say, I was thinking of this last week, so is there any way to get the animation more accurate? (I'll post a video of a b1900d start up if my explantion doesn't quite make sense - it is a bit wordy!)
Cheers,
