Nah,.......... wasnt the plane that gave it away.
I recognised the river, and the town and racetrack in relation to the airstrip, as a while back, i built an NZPI scenery to fit into Robin Corn's RealNZ Auckland City photoreal for FS9..............

I'll have a guess at Kauaeranga Valley, which from the zoomin.co.nz map looks squiggly enough and appears to have a couple of airstrips.

EDIT: Oh, and I see its included in your Rural Airstrips Package TM ;-)

Correct !! The pic is taken above the NZR1 Kauaeranga Valley Airstrip, 3 nautical miles from NZTH Thames Airfield, in the Coromandel Photoreal Scenery.
You obviously did a fair bit of research to find it..................
Im surprised no-one recognised it thats got the Rural Airstrips package,.......................

Actually I opened up the map South of Auckland, was drawn towards the Coromandel, zoomed in on Thames area... took no more than 20 seconds

Here's a hard one from me:

BUT a big clue is I only have photoreal for Canterbury.
Its a bit off the beaten track... a good spot to park the campervan maybe?

Got me beat,.............. ive flown around every square inch of the Christchurch / Canterbury photoreal ive got installed, and couldnt see anything that remotely looked like that...............
I figured the joint between the photoreal and the default ground textures would make it easy to find,............ but,........... nahhhhhhh
( unless of course, im going blind in my old age ).
