Awesome, didn't realize google earth had been updated. March 2009, you can see the runway overlay project has got as far as taxiway 3. Okay now the million dollar question, how did you do this??

It will cause you more problems than it solves, nothing will line up.

Hey Mark. You asked about this already right over here ... Did you know you can download PDFs of the Jetstar schedules from the following URL, why not have a crack at creating the flightplans and share it with the rest of us. I've only built them myself for FS9 and it may be a bit more involved under FSX but I'm sure there would be others here who can point you at a tutorial..

Try downloading this program as it converts your FS2004 Traffic Files into FSX Format.

Well i decided to install gnzlap with htai traffic plus biz jets in fsxsp2 ,all showed up fine though i didnt have any large traffic at NZAA and other main airports ,so i decided to install the old VOZ ai package "only one i could find at the time ", all airlines started to show in Auckland again and was a pleasure to watch .

One thing i did notice that is not included here after all the installs, is people complaining about the prop textures on the smallers aircraft ,they are just black alpha channels and pretty ugly ,is there a fix for this that you know about or someone has sorted ??
or is this just my problem ..

i just read the pdf and readme that came with GNZLAP ,this was pretty straight forward to follow if you look at the folders in your FSX directory
only things that are different are the way the aircraft folders are in fsx ,but all you do is put the ai aircraft in simobjects /airplanes folder
as said above dont install the AF2 files "afcads "

Mike, I got rid of the prop disc issue as quoted earlier in this thread..repeated here for easy reference...you will need to hop over to Orbx and get a file from there...search "HTAI" Let me know if you have issues finding it.

I only copied (so far) the HTAI aircraft over..this helped me heaps and got rid of a few issues when I copied them over

Quoting Holger from Orbx:

Also, for me at least, the prop discs showed up as all black, so I made my own that I've attached below; you'll need to replace each instance of prop-hs.bmp in the aeroplane texture subfolders. The one I made is for a two-blade prop so you may want to add a different one for the three-blade variants.

Finally, you want to assign the appropriate sound files to each aircaft type. To do that create an empty "soundai" folder in each aircraft folder then copy the soundai.cfg file from the [FSX]\SimObjects\Airplanes\C172_LFH\soundai folder. For the bigger Cessnas replace the "C172" in the cfg file with "C208B" (use Wordpad or Notepad for that

there also are five "fx_ga_*" .fx files in [FS9]\Effects that you should copy into [FSX]\Effects."

If you search the Orbx forums (you will need to register ther if you haven't already) Holger has posted a file you can download that fixes the prop issue in FSX

Cheers
