Yeah just remember to not get overconfident either. I did a bit and it didn't help me in my test

. The test is in three main parts:
1) Basic driving- like your restricted test
2) Remembering hazards- you have to remember all hazards you see that directly affect you- eg moving cars or people that could cross your path- then state what they were when you pull over.
3) Avoiding hazards- you drive down a stretch off road and state ALL hazards you see (including road narrowing, surface changing etc) and state what they are and how you are avoiding them as they happen.
I'm not sure if the whole conversation thing works- I'm sure the tester would rather see someone who is putting 100% concentration into driving rather than small talk.
