Wings of Power- Any interest in it?

Discuss aircraft addons and repaints for Flight Simulator here

Postby Timmo » Wed Jul 22, 2009 6:18 pm

Hey guys- While rummaging around in a book store the other week I came across this addon for FS9 and bought it (thinking I would see what worked in FSX since I don't use FS9 anymore)- Unfortunately you need an install of FS9 for the installer to work so I wasn't able to install it (without reinstalling FS9 that is....no time for that)

So, if someone wants it they can have it- I paid $8 for it. If anyone is local (Tauranga) they can have it for free (pick up) or for someone elsewhere, Ill post it to ya for $10 all up (Just to cover postage and packaging costs really)

It is fully boxed and comes with the CD as well as a comprehenisive 160 page booklet giving details about each of the aircraft included. These are:

Lancaster
Ar234B2 (German jet bomber)
B24 Liberator
PB4Y-2 Privateer (Navy version of the B24)
Focke-Wulf Tal38 'Huckebein' Jet
B17G Flying Fortress
B29 SuperFortress
He 162 Salamander

Cheers

If no interest here it will go on Trademe

If anyone is interested in this but are unsure... JUST BUY IT!!!
This is their earliest stuff for FS9, but it is good quality... superb flight models that behave right to the numbers in any given scenario. thumbup1.gif
Tons of repaints available, suprisingly light for muliplayer ops, I've logged over 900hrs in the "heavys" in this package - most of which were online smile.gif

Its a great addon Timmo,, to install to fsx just make a dumby folder C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Flight Simulator 9, all the parts will extract to fs9 folder ,plus will folder themselfs Aircraft/effects/gauges and whatever else the installer drops in there ,,of course after the install you move the parts of the folder into your fsx directory ...

Hmm- tried a couple of things like that but still couldn't get it to work (but my dummy FS9 install was in a non standard location)...even tried the registry tweak to add dummy fs9.exe to that location.
