A recent update to AVG has resulted in the 'Real NZ' CD installer menu from all Real NZ products to be flagged as a threat.
The file in question is 'autorun.exe'. This is a standard format CD autorun program, which opens the main scenery installer screen. Because it is opened automatically when you insert the CD, it may trigger a virus detection when you insert the CD.
Is it a real threat?
Be assured that this is not a threat, it is simply a temporary 'false positive', caused by one particular virus definition update, which has since been corrected. Please make sure you update your AVG virus definitions before attempting to install any Real New Zealand scenery from a CD.
If you are unable to update your definitions, or this does not solve the problem, please let me know as soon as possible.
