Not sure if anyone posted any early "Century Series" fighters yet, but this was the first one-the F 100 Super Sabre, the first operational aircraft to reach the speed of sound in level flight. Fairly orthodox-looking aircraft, but it was the hottest plane in the world for a time, and even more of a beast to fly than the F 104. Worse accident rate than the Starfighter too: a quarter of all the F 100s ever made were lost in accidents.

If anyone can point me to a link that tells you how to get screenshots with distant textures really sharp like those I'd really appreciate it

The A-7 is a much meaner looking mutha isn't it?
And astonishing that it shoved the F100 out of the picture, too.
Hugh, great headon shot there. What a dog of an air_plane!
Unlike the Starfighter which was easily flown beyond its flight envelope, then ate you, this one ate you by falling to pieces or just deploying the brake chute in flight.
It was a real product of McCarthy hysteria in '50s America.

If I'd known I'd have kept you a hi-res version!
The shot was made at Woodburne, using RealNZ Marlborough scenery in FS9.
It was sharpened slightly (3%) and cropped, is all.

You will need to modify you fs9.cfg file in notepad- very easy to do.

Read the 'Maximise Your Settings Guide' and 'Get Rid of Photoreal Blurries Guide' on how to do this.

Your screenshots are pretty good none the less!

Wow excellent shots Koyunbaba - in typically Norwegian landscape I presume?

Charl the G-91 you have posted is the single engine model (what FS model is it by the way?) - it later developed into a twin engine model which was the last 91 variant in service. I believe some of the Portuguese G-91 in up in African hands in Angola and Mozambique (Portuguese colonies).

Also great Mig -29/Corsair series fauville - what FS model is that Mig?

Just a suggestion but when posting shots is it possible to include a little more info about the model? It would be great to know such things as what it is, who made it, which sim platform it runs on and if possible where to get it.

Koyunbaba- wow! Amazingly atmospheric shots, very appropriate to the Northrop F-5, which I had never heard of untill today.

Right on cue KYB, the F-5 was what Northrop did at the time of the FIAT!
(Just could never get used to it being used as a TopGun "MiG" What did they think, we were all expert girl watchers??)
Naki, it's a Kaz Ito freeware one, another engine probably didn't hurt it too much at all, I guess.

CPZ, Ian's C130 would've been the CaprtainSim model I imagine.
Ian - I will get to the Etendard for sure, (So far only can find the Super model) but have hangered, and am preparing, the Sabre and MiG 15 equivalent from France.
We're headed into the last quarter of this thread, now...
