Aero Club Fly In

For everything about online flying around New Zealand

Postby ardypilot » Sun Sep 17, 2006 10:23 pm

I was flying online with ZK-MAT at the NZFF Aero Club today and thought it would be pretty neat if a whole load of Aero Club members could do an organised fly-in.

NZOX is a great location, with many other airfields near by, so if we set a time and a date, on a private server, we could all meet up online and have a wee chat on teamspeak...

If all goes well, perhaps we can increase these scheduled fly ins and maybe even have an airshow- where some of the club members can perform aerobatics overhead Great Barrier Island whilst everyone else is parked up enjoying the show.

What do you all think?

:o that would be heaps good.. If any ozzies are heading for it, maybe a group of ANZ A320s from Aus to NZAA then to Aero Club. ( It gets lonely flying that route by urself )

Posted as well in the NZFF Aero Club Forums;

How about a fly-in to Auckland from your home (I'll excuse you bardos :D ) to arrive in NZAA at x time, then hop in a prop and buzz over to NZOX?

Hows that sound?

ZK-MAT has posted such a simple how-to introduction to online flying on the Inspire server that I do believe I will dip a toe and see who's at the clubhouse, in real time.
I have never flown online.
Doing AI as intensively as I have, you have to realise that this is like a vegan announcing a yen for a big fat steak!
Thanks for the intro, Matt.

Sorry buddy, I do all my flying online at IVAO, or less often, at VATSIM ;) . I only fly offline when I am testing new aircraft or scenery, haven't flown a full flight offline for nearly 6 months now :P . Congrats on getting into it Gokanru, its a whole new ball game out there :D .
