The AFG MiG 21MF and MiG 21US-Package is not the big hit... but i like it, to "fly in Formation." Well, the GDR have used this variant also, from 1970 to 1990...

The last (and best of the Soviet era Russian) fighter jets - the Sukhoi Flanker - these being the SU-33 naval variant from Alphasim/Virtavia:

Not hiding, I had moved from my apartment in town back in January 2011 to a house on some acreage in the country so I could work on my other hobby (shooting and marksmanship) in the privacy of my back yard. The downside was that it was so far out that reliable broadband internet was not available for a reasonable price.
I recently moved back into town and am able to get affordable broadband.

A recent repaint popped up, of Manfed Jahn's excellent Connie.
1953, and truly Cold War years.

This bird could outrun a Japanese Zero fighter - would've struck a chord with many.
The Air Force version's nose did unspeakable things to that Dolphin profile, you have to hope the radar worked properly.

A trans-Atlantic trip would be no problem for this fast, pressurised airliner

It could stay up for 23 hours! and go 8,000km

The Wrights were temperamental, earning the nickname "World's Finest Trimotor" in some circles.
No problem, it probably used less fuel...

This one is called Columbine 2, a series started because the columbine is the official flower of Colorado, the adopted home state of Mamie Eisenhower.
Dwight had a couple of these, and this one became the first Air Force One.

I am hoping for one for such a long time, Ian smile.gif A real, multi-lod AI Bear, Yob? Now that would make me excited.... There was one in development with the United Traffic Team, but that was abandoned for all I know.

I totally agree, Charl. Sergey has done a great job and many cool aircraft.
Cheers,
Martin

A little more AI: the Harrier GR.3

But, boys and girls... this isn't really about the Harrier.
Those lucky enough to have a good FS9 install have been treated to another absolutely stunning military scenery: RAF Gutersloh.
John Young has made a bunch of AI Harriers which are the mobile component of this scenery from Airfield Construction Group members Manfred Schyma and Pete Beeby

Very much Cold War, this was one of the NATO bases likely to be in the forefront of any Hot War in Europe.

The detail and care shown in the scenery are astonishing

And of course, one can bring all your toys into this splendid backdrop
