Hi guys,
On Saturday James and I went for a little flight from Timaru to Christchurch on IVAO. He was on a laptop that he doesn't usually use for simming. We tried to bypass installing the MTL but something went a little wrong, and instead of looking like a Piper Tomahawk, he looked almost exactly the opposite - an Antonov 124.
Anyway, here are the pics.
NB: They have been very basically tampered with a little on Photoshop
. Have tried to keep most of the shots roughly 800x600.
James out of the corner of my eye, and lining up runway 02 at NZTU.

Rolling down runway 02

Climbing out from Timaru

Looking across to the Southern Alps

James turning northwards

One last look at Timaru

James and I in formation

Looking over at the snowy mountains, a.k.a. the Southern Alps

Overflying a river, with nice reflection

All of a sudden I lost James, and opened up FSNav. He was back in Timaru, he decided not to try and start again, so I continued on to Christchurch

Looking back into the comfy cabin, I wouldn't mind sitting in one of those seats

Turning slightly eastward to follow the southern side of Banks Peninsula

Is that me? Man I look old

Looking over towards the base of Banks Peninsula

Southern Sunset

Looking over into Lyttelton Harbour

A boat B) , don't see them very often

"The Land of Cloud and Mist"

Last rays on the ridge

Road into another bay...

A different perspective

Radio/TV transmitter and Christchurch City in the background

Coming out of Banks Peninsula

Fog rolling into Christchurch - lets get down fast

Turning onto final for 02L

A little high on the long final

Nearly dark - look at the long shadows

Short final on 02L

Just about stopped on the grass runway

Taxiing to the Canterbury Aero Club hangar, someone was nice enough to want to pick me up from there

Hmm fuel... Might need some of that on the way out...

Parked in the hangar and my friend in that car as well, good timing

Thanks for watching
.
