Luvly... so different, but built around that motor.

As an aside, I came across a news clip showing the Omaka Mosquito taxiing, so that same engine works there now. (The ACTUAL 24 cylinder symphony :D )
I am wondering if it can ever fly?

Maybe in the sim?

Indeed it was a pretty amazing weekend. I was part of the team who run her and was onboard for our first taxi. No it will never fly as the wings were cut off, and the fuselage cut in half by John Smith to move it to his property in the 1950's. Although he did a great job re-assembling, it would need a new fuse and wing (as per Avspecs rebuilds) which would take away the authenticity of this aircraft. Also somebody with about US$10 million in spare change! In its current state she is probably the most original Mosquito outside the de Havilland museum. As a side note, the de Haviland museum director sent a message to our team leader congratulating us on the achievement.

 Great stuff... think I briefly saw you in that clip!

Marty it's a highjack, sorry, but it is all about Merlins still.
The AH Mossie has a somewhat convoluted DIY feature to change the markings, and so here it is, over Omaka, after finishing taxiing trials.

If AH give it guns, it would deserve a dedicated paint
