1000 hours in the MSFS 2020 after heart surgery
Posted: Mon Jul 14, 2025 6:00 amt's not the number that makes the difference, but the fact that the surgeon and his team sacrificed almost 7 hours of their time so that I could experience this and much more. Smile... That's the point.
The flight itself was no big deal.

Cessna 208B "Caravan"
The CARAVAN from Black Sqare is a remarkable machine and one should not be fooled by the fact that the exterior model is that of Microsoft/Asobo. It is not a glass cockpit but one with classic instrumentation and a GPS, with a range of options available. I opted for the TDS Garmin GTN 750. This Caravan is an airplane to work with and the ability to simulate specific or arbitrarily chosen problems is remarkable.
There is only one problem, with the airplane. On the papier you could use all the repaints that are available for the basic model from Asobo/Microsfoft, but the devil is in the detail. Since the workaroud in the Handbook is rather something to “break fingers”, I only change the country code and leave further gimmicks, even if it worms.
