I think that was quite an accurate description Charl. Menacing but ugly.
A very nice paint though, as usual.

I think it looks somewhat elegant...but venomous.
I tend to like aircraft that "different"...like the F-4.

but hey, I like the Grumman Duck as well...

It’s mainly the fuselage area that I dislike aesthetically. The bulbous nose and stepped canopy as well as the fuselage shape. It looks like a series of afterthought add ons.

could be worse...

Talking about aesthetically challenged: I've always felt the Fairey Barracuda was constructed from a bunch of left-over parts..

those flaps, the struts below the tailplanes, the huge windows in the sides, the greenhouse canopy, the antennas all over...compared to this, the Widow is a thing of beauty

Funny you should say that, this is actually the War Thunder model, converted for MSFS, but with my own textures.

Jankees, I agree with you about the Black Widow.
But the Barracuda is a type I like the look of.
