Some Mustangs

The Asobo Reno Mustangs, like their T-6 counterparts, are good quality simplanes, but lack the finesse of the best developers, like Flying Iron.
However, some energetic simmers have made various improvements to the model, and there’s a very nice soundset available too.
I’ve always had a Moonbeam McSwine in the sim, and John Terrel has produced some fantastic repaints for this and the others.
I took it down South and had a play between Wanaka and Tekapo.

The AH model benefits from the new sounds too.
“Our” P-51 (a JK cover) was until recently unflyable, but magically seems to have been fixed.
That’s the one I took into the Auckland weather system today.
It needed some maintenance after I got it down at NZNE.

Some more excellence from Terrel (he keeps tweaking these):

Thanks for stopping by Marty - Assisted by tweaks from others, John keeps doing wonders for this model.
Great to see the Community at work.

As much as I hate repeating myself.....with an imagination like mine, you can almost hear and smell the aircraft.
Superb shots, all of them.

Can't remember if I posted this

Watch on youtube.com

Simon I think your imagination probably can do better, but it's some improvement on the stock one.
I like that it sputters during taxi.
