I've been on a N Island Road Trip, thought i'd recreate some sim vs real.
Well, not really, although I did sit in the sim and wait for the cloud to move, not happening.
Paul (Naki) will know this view well.

Lol yes...there can be several days you wouldn't even know there was mountain there because of cloud...

One of our group decided to get up early, and climb Mount Taranaki!
The locals shook their heads: he was rewarded with absolutely clear skies, all the way.
