Just to show how amazing photoreal can be. This is XP11 with True Earth Washington (ORBX).

I'd so love to have the whole of NZ at this quality!

I'll post up some new ones tomorrow - but in the meantime here's the thread at ORBX ...

I am watching ORBX with interest at the moment... They have hinted at a TE NZ.

For FSX and P3D you should have a look at Blue Sky Scenery http://www.blueskyscenery.com/WA.html who offer freeware scenery for Washington.

Looks very nice. Never played with TE at all, what does it look like at less than 500ft?

AMAZING THANKS A ZILLION for your kindness in creating that screenshot although I would need to call Orbx and tell Orbx that this is not Mount Ranier if they think realism is very important.

Don't forget that the screenshots were taken at least 1,000 AGL, so the perspective would be very different!

To be honest, I don't think *anything* in P3D or XP looks great at that height - unless you're over a custom airport. In default areas, you often get the dreaded "porridge".

I think ORBX generally do a decent job in their TrueEarth areas, as the photoreal has a lot of autogen thrown over it. But ... since you ask ... here's a bit of Gloucestershire in TEGB (XP11):

But at 1,000ft or above, it all looks pretty good to me:

Yes - it's currently on its way - though I've no idea how far it's got. How does it cope with the long stretches over water, I wonder???

The G-IRTY livery comes with the Skunkcrafts model. It's for XP only.

Thank you, Sir

I've just realised I also have a repaint for G-IRTY for the A2A Spit . I'll post up some pics shortly.
