Well I set out from Tekapo, hoping to get a screenie worthy of entering into this months "Rotating" themed screenshot comp, but I didn't quite get the time of day set right and was unhappy with the lighting and result of all my shots. Still, I better not let them go to waste, here are 8 pics I took on the way to Mount Cook:

Also, theone thing that annoyed me the most about these screenies was that the rotar blades didn't show up! Does anyone know of an enhanced rotor blade texture which can be used on all helos in fs2004?

Rotor textures are peculiar to the model, and the Squirrel may be a bit faint for your taste.
Depends on the lighting, I like it faint and fuzzy like this:

Being slower than a prop, you'd never want to see a disk.

Yeah, me too - great tilted horizon! (although I would normally never endorse a sun shot  )
And, folks, what we are all missing here: Trolly is dipping the toe into rotorflight!

Yeah, that Real Enviroment Pro sun 'corona bmp' was too over the top for me, so I switched back to the default texture yesterday.

Yea, I have been flying the Whirlybirds quite a bit recently, they are so much fun to go exploring in once you get the hang of flying them, so I've been going all up, down and around the mountain crevices and glaciers in the South Island, but more recently, doing all the missions in them that come with the 'Glacier Bay v2' in Alaska.

I think my flight in the Bell206 in Australia during the summer is to blame for all this recent out of the norm activity for me, and don't get me wrong, fixed wings still come first :ph43r: and I still need to practice landing my helicopters a lot before I call myself a 'chopper pilot' ;)
