Hi Team.

Every year in October the RNZAF send a Herc south..........way south.........all the way to 'The Big Ice'. The 'Winfly' mission is the swapout of the Science teams and base personnal who have been on the Ice for 6 months. I thought I'd fly this mission on FSX........heres the pics.

Water temp has changed....see the difference....just above the Herc the water is different.......theres an 'edge' to it. We're getting close!!!!

you took the poor old herc all that way! How long did it take ya?

Awsome screenies nik, hey check out this, I simulated the operation deep freze in a C17, really great flight.

Great pics Nik- that is something I really envy in FSX- being able to land at Antartica. It's crazy in FS2004 with moving runways and the flooded ice effect!

It takes the Herc 7 hours to get to Antarctica in real life. I did it in around 7 hours in virtual life.......HAHA :D

Do you mean to say that the RNZAF are now making FS Aircraft ;)

Well I guess they have to do something :P
