Another cloudy day in the Alps however the weather is suppose to clear as I fly north.
Another early morning start
Climb out and finally some blue sky!
Aiming for a gap in the clouds and over the ridge to the Canterbury plains
Ahaa - fine clear skies!
One of the many rivers that cross the Canterbury Plains - this one is the Rakaia River
What do you know - a big fat cloud just suddenly appeared near the airport - can't be bothered flying around so I will just fly through it
Popped out the other side of the cloud - and the airport is clear of any more clouds.
Landing on the grass strip near the aero club - something different at the airport today - an Atlas 747-400F
Parked up outside the Canterbury Aeroclub Hanger
Time to hit the bars in the City
