This month, RAZBAM are sponsoring our competition for the first time. This means that the person who wins with the best screenshot this month will receive the RAZBAM 'Volume 2' A4 Skyhawk (Kahu) package from this website: www.razbam.net ... Now that's an incentive for you all to enter!

--------------------
Here is our 11th monthly Screenshot Competition, which is free to enter for all the members of NZFF.

This month's rules are as follows:

1) The screenshot must be from FS2004 or FSX, and the position of the shot must be somewhere over New Zealand territory.

2) The image size must be as close as possible to 984 pixels wide- read the uploading screenshot guide to find out how to re-size your shot. Please keep a high res version saved on your computer as the admin may request it from you at the end of the month to convert it into a site banner!

3) Images can be submitted from March 1st to March 31st 2007, with only one entry per member. You can change your submission if you want, just delete the old one and replace it with a new one.

4) On March 31st, a poll will open and run for a few days to decide who has the best image, then the winner will have a cropped version of their image appear in the NZFF banner as well as receiving the RAZBAM prize!

5) Editing is allowed, if you know how to do it. The more stunning your shots look the better!

6) This month's theme is 'Rotating' ... which can have two different meanings, one for choppers and one for fixed wing ... how you go about displaying that is up to you, be creative!

7) As we are offering prizes, each member who enters must have made at least 20 posts at NZFF before they can enter.

All the best to everyone who enters, now let the games begin! :ph43r:

So when you say rotating is that like taking off and turning?

So when you say rotating is that like taking off and turning?

You know the 'VR' speed (greater or equal to the V1) on takeoff roll is? It means the rotation speed of an aircraft at which the pilot begins to pull up, so for the comp you could have takeoff shots for aircraft, any sort of helicopter with rotar blades rotating, or whatever your mind can imagine, such as your awesome Antonov shot there!

Brennanx, the whole idea of broad themes such as Rotating is to allow for creativity...Rotating can mean chopping up the air with rotors, aeros, rotation on takeoff, etc etc.

how you go about displaying that is up to you, be creative!

Okay here is my shot for now - a typical Naki scene and something I've wanted to do for a while - HNZ 412 landing on Maui B. Can't fly choppers though! - must practice more.

Edit: Chopper screenie now replaced by Wanaka airshow take off scramble - replaced again by the Sf-260s "rotating" over the crowd line at Wanaka

:P ha ha something like that - I cheated and used the pause button as it was about to crash in ball of flame into the rig and cause a NZ wide gas shortage - caught it at just the right moment!
