The flight ended in disaster - I flew up a valley and was too busy looking at the stunning scenery and not keeping an eye on my air speed - result - stalled and spun in at low level. whoops!

yeah great aircraft, sady your scenery looks a tad blured, what are your scenery settings? The aircraft model and textures are so sharp looking yet the scenery is quite messy Maby fiddle a little with the settings..

I'v done the hill thing a few times myself too, anothor reason I dont like vfr, its to easy to stop vfring lol

My settings are hard right so I am not too sure how I can get my landscape any sharper - I think I might have a problem with the way I am taking the shots - whilst the FPS (20-24 or so) is okay flying if I open up Ifranview (which I use to take shots) while flying it drops to 2 FPS and this may blur the landscape a bit. It also blurs if I puase the sim and then take shots - any hints on what I am doing wrong? I wil double check next time I am taking screenies and see whether I can sharpen things up somehow.

Ahh - the black things - these are oil (or perhaps bug) splatters and more appear over time - you need to clean the windscreen on a regular basis - amongst other maintence items that need regular attention. This add on is very unique as the maintenance of the plane needs constant attention - If you like low and slow (and a realistic aircraft maintenance function) I believe this is the best add on out there.

Is the screen capturer saving them as jpegs? Cos if its converting the image it can slow perforamce, try "fsscreen" from avsim, its great, just run it and press the print screen button to take a screenie

Yeah but that makes them into Bmps which you have to convert. If you have an ATi Video card, get ATi Tray Tools. It comes with a max-quality screen-shooter (as well as a huge amount of other features).

Oh, that reminds me! I was going to do a Whittaker's paint on the Tiger Moth (as it should be)

To put it simply folks, I had waited for the Just flight model and paintkit, but now that I have it, I am sooooo disappointed with both the model and the texture kit, that I have gone off the Tiggie for a while.

JF claimed accuracy, but can't count (wing ribs and nose ribs are wrong for one) and have a lousy model file structure in FS.

And when you think that the wings are fabric covered, the surfaces should be wavy, not flat.

How come there is only one (Freeware) fabric skinned plane (that I know of) with properly wavy wings? (the Christen Eagle)

I quite liked the Tiger (had the demo) - didn't like the price.
