I felt like a little play in Australia for a change, so I loaded up the VOZ South West Summer textures (nice and dry) for a nice VFR hop between Camden (YSCN)- just west of Sydney- and Cowra (YCWR) which would take me about 45 minutes in my beautiful Piper Cherokee from Carenado (N reg. please excuse that I have no VH. reg paint for it).

I took off at what I thought was early evening, but annoyingly the sun sank really fast and I ended up making a dark nightime landing, so I decided to fly back from YCWR to YSCN to make a complete return trip, this time set to early morning instead.

Here are 12 screenies I took- not too many from the return leg as I was battling the turbulence over the mountains flying by hand ;)

1. Depearting YSCN

2. Climbing out over the dusty farm scape

3. Sun setting to my left

4. Another angle- this one looks a bit better :P

8. Over some lake- notice the VOZ water textures

9. This is the sort of light I spent the last 30 minutres flying in

10. Arriving at Corwa after 50 minutes flying time after having to divert off course to avoid a large clump of clouds

11. Wing view from the return flight- landclass =

12. I made a perfect landing back at Camdan which made me really happy- most of the time I flare too early, come in too steep or shallow and touch down too far to one side of the centreline, but this one was spot on for me ;)

Cheers for looking, I know my shots were of nothing special, but I thought I would post them as I havn't posted any screenies in quite a while :plane:
