I was just going to shoot a few at NZNV, and move on, but I got stuck looking at the scenery.
Rick Piper's superb HS 748 is a great model in Mt Cook colours.
For some reason the port engine quit but that didn't stop me flying around and enjoying the view.

And even with an engine out, it wasn't too hard to grease this bird in.
Great aircraft and I wish I had time to learn all its bits to do it justice.

Thanks for coming up with Murray's name Ian I couldn't remember.
The movie clip was just to get the turbine soundtrack, beautifully done in that model, no?
Was it a RR Dart like the Viscounts?

Nice shots! I believe the HS 748 engines model failures from overheating and so forth, perhaps that was what happened to it?

Thanks!
Yes I was playing Jack the cameraman and not paying any attention to the aircraft.
Rule No 1: FLY THE AEROPLANE B)
In a model of this quality I'm surprised I even got it down.
EDIT: Actually in the screenshot you can see I'd been doing stupid stuff one-handed like <CTRL-E> because the prop became unfeathered!

Really nice screenies Charl, and you are right. Ricks 748 is an incredibly beautifully detailed model (good cockpit too), and it flies beautifully.
