We have had some pretty extream weather down in the South Island this week has been experienceing some pretty cold weather recently with over a metre of snow falling in some places 8O

When I flew from Queenstown to Te Anau today, it started off with heavy snow but cleared up and allowed me to take the following few pictures as the sun set over the mountains below

Enjoy the next 12 pictures. 5 of them are full sized and the other 7 are clickable thumbnails to save loading time!

Great pics there!

How do you get the smooth transitions from cloud to mountain? Most of my clouds give a solid-line harsh transition from cloud to ground.

Thanks for the comments.

Bigdogshark- I am not really sure on the answer, but I know that my 3D Clouds are set to 100% in Display/Weather settings. Hope this helps you.
