Righto... and finally the E-1B! Grumman certainly milked this airframe.

GREAT response from the painters' community, there are new liveries every other day.

Old school , the basic deck plan dates back to the Kitty Hawk/America class which led on to the Nimitz shown above , the Tracker/Trader grew up in the the world of the Essex rebuilds and Midway class's making the decks quite a bit smaller and more the "old school" aircraft carrier .

Cheers chaps...
The Grumman7 are up on AVSIM and Flightsim now.

I'm always careful to hide the carrier ID because I know that Wing Commander Warren is watching.
But this one was to hand, so served the purpose:

The Grummans? I believe so, yes. But there are dedicated FSX versions promised, too.

Ooh there's a lot of artistic license in flight simulation... laziness and cheapness also play a great role!
Didn't think I'd get away with painting kangaroos on the British AEW Mk2A Seaking either...

Guess that means I won't be able to post this bolter shot then...

Suppose I'll have to spring for the RAZBAM Aussie A-4G pack, after all they went to Vietnam, Cold Warriers of a sort.
Although HMAS Melbourne, without ever firing a shot in anger, had the rare distinction of scoring not one but two own goals, destroyers both.

.

Well they have hooks, so...
Interesting the other day the RAN had manoeuvres with the Chinese! and did not invite their friends the USN.

Anyway, to put this to bed: 26 Bucks *Kaching!* from Sim Market, proud owner of the Real McCoy A-4G no hump.
The Melbourne that came with the package is alas from a previous era, so:

Carriers are a lotta fun - I must say before I disinstalled (no typo, it's what I did) FSX, it was the carriers that I played with.
Best flightsimming ever was eons ago with a dedicated F-14 sim that you lined up on a pitching carrier *Call the Ball!* erm, Wave off! Wave Off!

Cheers Matey, I read that the clearance of a Tracker starboard wing on HMAS Mel was a metre or so on landing - US flyboys refused the invitation!
