I'm in a whole new world with this sim , now I've discovered "Photogrammetry data" .....When I saw in the options I didn't take much notice, but when I did ......holy cow.....but I'm not telling you gurus anything new of course.

The shots themselves aren't that great, but I couldn't believe it could be incorporated into a sim like this .
First shot, I was pottering around CHC in a Caribou, watching this magic unfold in front of me .. :o

The campus I look after is visible, complete with the brown grass I've been trying to revive. Not sure how old that data is, but it looks like that now.

Reset, and changed over to the Tiger Moth and went looking for our place, which is in this area ...and...

The "M" in my place is right over the house....I'm loving this :)

That's the thing with the Asobo/MS offering: Muhammadali in Uzbekistan is doing what you are doing, and also marvelling...
It is a mighty effort, and beautiful in so many ways.
It's why the smaller niggles are soo annoying; if they can do THIS, why don't they get on and fix THAT

I certainly get a kick out of that first shot, on the coastline just above the left wing are at least three houses I lived in. Photogrammetry is great from about that height. I can still remember when Google first released photogrammetry Ian was not a fan, calling it 'blobby'. It really came into its own with MSFS, although didn't quite live up to that in 2024.
I've tried walking around Ferrymead in MSFS2024, it's a very weird post-apocalyptic experience.
