Tiger over Taieri

Postby Naki » Sun Oct 06, 2024 3:12 pm

Yet another British trainer...and one i have flown in IRL...Ants Tiger Moth is great model...love flying it and has lots of depth...had it in P3d and its even better in MSFS...

Robin's Taieri is wonderful with lots of "old" detail that Robin referred to in another post.

Greatshots. They bought back memories of my brother and I did a Tiger Moth flight over Wanaka...loved every second of it.

Paul, very nice crisp set of shots!
In fact the one in front of the NAC hangar has texture depth I hadn't seen in my sim.
Enviously i went checking my settings - nope.
I worked at it all morning :) then noticed that at exactly 10:00 AM, the sun shone to create that plaster shadow depth.

Perhaps you got lucky, perhaps it was well planned - you should never answer that question, of course, it all goes to making a great screenshot.

"Course you do need a decent scenery set, and Taieri is that - in fact the first one I loaded in MSFS 2020.
I "walked" around it while doing my "research" and it's right up there with the best.
On a distant shed I found two bits of spouting going into a rain tank; I could go on and on...
