Aaaaah yes daylight savings always brings long days basking in the sun or pool and annoying nieces and nephews running around screaming there heads off while your trying to relax and not to mention Strawberries and watermelon mmmmm gotta love summer fruit.

Summer brings less time for FS9 and more time to turn my legs from fluro white to golden brown.

Changeing the clocks doesn't make it sunny thow......

Its funny how in queensland they don't have daylight saving but they do in NSW, and the boarder runs right down the middle of a main street, so one side its 3 o'clock and the other 4! pretty stupid really.

actually, if you have a look on a map, gold coast airport (YBCG) straddles the NSW/QLD border
http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&hl=en&q ... 8,0.079823

so you could touch down at 3:15pm and pull up at the terminal at 4:16pm

Our Daylight Savings is about to end, and we get to fall back (sometime this month). So during your winter (our summer) it's about 8 hours difference between Florida and there, and now it's going to be 6. Confusing.

Also confusing for a lot of people is that DST is the law for every state except Arizona and Indiana. So half the year Arizona is in the Mountain Time Zone, and the other half they're in the Pacific time zone.

Much like Kaitaia and Bluff really, the closer to the equator the less the effect of the earth's axis wobble has on seasons.
Now was that a geography or astronomy lesson?

 I don't like this topic. When I go to work in the morning, it's still dark and within a month it's dark too when I go home. And you down there...smiling to a rising sun. :D
Here in West-Europe almost every country goes an hour back at the end of the month.

Max.

Oh that was for the millenium!
They thought it'd be clever to bend the dateline a bit and so get boatloads of tourists to be first in the 21st century.
Guess they forgot to put it back :whoops:

Pull up a sandbag and I'll tell you a war story:
I used to go to school and back in the dark but I never complained about still playing outside at 11pm in summer :nahnah:
