Ha! You're not missing much!

I've never seen such a beligerent, foul-mouthed debate (tonight - Helen Clarke, John Keys on Campbell live). Forget smacking kids - ALL THREE of these immature, *RUDE* characters need a bloody good smacking. Is this what you would call "enlightened debate" in a "civilised" country? I felt *so ashamed*.

How can Campbell keep order if he himself interrupts both politicians every 2nd breath? I don't think I heard one complete sentence *from anybody* throughout the whole debate. As a result, no issues were properly explained or argued - what a **total waste of time**.

SAD.

I will miss here.
I have had the pleasure of meeting our passing PM on a few occassions and was impressed with her knowledge, committment and compassion.

Am worried about JK in a crisis.

Hopefully he will suprise me.

farewell to the best PM we have had in my voting lifetime.

Yes, although I am a long-time National supporter, I do think that most of the things we have to be proud of as New Zealanders come from Labour, and Helen Clark has certainly kept up the good work. Not to mention almost single-handedly keeping the govt honest.

This was the first time I've ever had a problem deciding who to vote for, but in the end I went for my own self-interest rather than what seems 'right'.

The bottom line is this: under a National govt I make progress financially; under Labour I generally stay stuck in the same place.

I agree with you there toprob. A National government is what NZ needs to bring it through the difficult times.

You might find out soon enough, Treasury opens the books today and I'll bet that won't be pleasant reading.

Apart from that, what sort of crisis do you forsee....? Can you name a few "crisis" that Helen coped with, apart from
Paintergate, Benson Pope, Dover Samuels etc etc....
