Sorry this seems random but my obsession with music is slowly growing (with the help from friends)

I've got a Washburn bass, but it's not on the poll

Ive got a Gibson Les Paul standard and an Epiphone Les Paul Custom, Both amazing guitars I would go as for as saying the best sounding in the world! Just image standing infront of a wall of Marshall amps just shreading a les paul to bits
You carnt beat the sound of a les paul throught a marshall amp.
Ive also got a fender stratocaster and a fender Telecaster (in my personal photo)

Q300 You sound remarkably like one of my friends! (especially the shredding part and the Marshall Wall part!)

I am saving for a Les Paul. It is such a hot axe. Probably get an epiphone one though

A gibson LP is worth every cent, I brought mine brand new off the gibson site straight from the factory in the US.
It cost a wopping $7,500 but the sound off it it... just amazing, a real rich and smooth tone
But its also the heavest guitar ive played it feels like your shoulder has been dislocated My left arm went numb the first few times i played it but ya get used to it after a while.

The epiphone LP's are realy cool too, They dont sound as good as the Gibson, but still a very nice guitar it still has that les paul tone, and not as heavy aswell
Basically the reason the epi LP's are cheaper ($1500 ish for a standard) is that there made in epiphones factory in Japan and not hand made in the USA like Gibson's are.

Personally, I always found the Les Paul a little heavy in the neck. A Strat's precise action is something that my poor skills benefit from, so I tend to swing that way with both 6-string and bass.

However, I've heard Ashton Acoustics played properly and their tone can't be beat.

Hmm yea the Les Paul's are very, very heavy but its what make's them sound so great and gives them that unmistakable tone

I always find on my strat and tele that the strings are to high off the fretboard, on the Les Paul ive set it up so the strings are almost siting right on the frets. I find the bridge and stopper bar setup on the LP's heaps better and comfortable than the floating bridge on the Strats...
