Busting aircraft myths

I find Mythbusters (9:30pm Monday, Discovery Channel) a fascinating program to watch, especially when they look at myths involving aircraft. Some of the ones they've looked at...

* Car driving behind an aircraft at full thrust
* Bird strike on cockpit window: frozen v thawed
* Explosive decompression from a gunshot
* Cellphones on aircraft
* 'chopped up' aircraft from prop strike

etc...

anyone else a fan of this show?
last night's myth regarding cellphones was interesting- they got some deflection from navigation instruments with 800MHz cellphones, but couldn't recreate it in a real aircraft. Apparantly systems are really well insulated/protected, but the FAA doesn't want to take the risk in case some new cellphone jams some avionics.
unfortunatley they weren't able to take a working cellphone onto an aircraft due to legal reasons. which begs the question, would a cellphone even work at 35,000ft?

I to am a big fan of mythbusters aswell I have seen all the aircraft related myths so far and they are really nicely done.

I will tell you now on a flight from NZAP to NZHN all 3 of us Pilot, Co-Pilot and me had problems using our cellphones at 5.000ft in the bell 222 over lake taupo

I'm told one of the reasons you shouldn't use a cellphone from an aircraft is that you connect with too many cell nodes and so scramble the system??

Out of all the people I have flown with and different machines I have been in 95% of them all use cellphones in there machines was specially amusing on that flight from NZAP - NZHN because the Base Manager Grant wanted to toss his phone out the window while Nick was flying at 5,000ft everyone was trying to use there cellphones to contact people because of problems with the chopper after take-off.
(scared the jeebys outta me Im a nervous flyer in the 222 when we start flying over 2,000ft it starts getting bad vibrations)
