I'm trying to add a google map to my frontpage website (different from nzff) but I'm getting really lost. Can anyone explain how to do it for me simply?

Im actually working on this myself for the scenery section to enable one to search for flightsim scenery spatially (both for Flightsim.co.nz and here if possible....dont think it will work on the board though)
What are you trying to do exactly?
You can have at my very early efforts here

Hi Tim,
I'm trying to insert a map onto this page:
http://ahope.server101.com/Draft/contact.htmThat is focused on Ardmore airport, but users can zoom in/out and move around to see where the airport is in relation to their own home.

This is your problem: <script> src="http://maps.google.com/maps?file=api&v=1&key=abcdefg"<br>The key=xxxxxxx needs to be changed to the key that you signed up for..if you havent signed up for one youll need to and its tied to that specific site.IF you google 'Google Maps API' it will give you the low down, complete with examples of maps which can 'borrow' the code from.oh and any reason why your images are .bmp bitmaps?? Jpeg, png or Gifs are best....saves space and download time
