Yeah Ive Got It- Great Game, but the handling is kinda strange compared to my other games.

@Trolly- If you turn the settings down, it should run pretty good!

Ive seen that new wheel Jason. Is that the one with the 6 speed gearbox and clutch pedal?? It looks really good, but im not sure if its worth it. People have told me you cant stall the car or anything like that, which really makes it pointless getting the wheel. Can you confirm this for Test Drive Unlimited??

EDIT- BTW What Cars does everybody have. Ive only just got the game. So I have the Modified Nissan 350Z, and the Alfa GS (I Think)

hi benwynn in answer to your question . People have told me you cant stall the car or anything like that. i can assure you the cars do stall anyone who says they don't have not set the the clutch to manual select in the game the reason this is so vital is due to test drive haveing a auto clutch set as as defualt for the the manual also i would strongly support the buying of this joystick as a worth while investment for the future as there is a vast array of games that have been made for this joystick ie: Need 4 Speed Carbon on pc and V8 Supercars 3 .

on a scale of 10 stars
i would give it a 10

Well ive got it now and im all addicted again ,ive got it on a steering wheel and pedels etc.. and its kick butt with all the traffic etc 10/10 yeah i think its close to others ive tested i give it a 7 /10 ,but in saying that i havent even started missions many races etc.. just been hooning around like i do ,tryed recording a movie with fraps and was shocked to see the flps drop from a solid 30 to like ten flps so ill work on that and get some movie action going on one of the races when i can ....
but for all the bump mapping and real looking grass etc its the s**t at the moment for me ... winkyy.gif a big thumbs up for anyone wanting a good time racing ,
oh and i cant get the trackIR4 to work with it sad.gif but hey who cares with this "game"

for those who are keen online profile players test drive has not 1 but 2 islands the second is only accessible via a hiddin track which leads to a port hole that i think may only show up in the online play .

any one who is keen to find this i would be more than happy to lead the way in online play mode.

What is it? Is it just like NFS/ Midnight Club? I might get it as I've got $150 and an adapter for a PS2 controller to use on a PC.

victor_alpha_charlie this game has the similar styles fo gameplay to both midnight club and nfs but is alot better as you can do missions etc and is also far more interactive and well worth the shopping trip to buy a copy

From what I can tell it's set in hawaii. Can you just cruise round the streets without racing? Also is there traffic (not during races)?

I've read there is AI traffic you can turn on and off, or you can just cruise on servers with loads of other online drivers.

Im just worried it might not run well on my system. I can run FS9 with settings as per the "Maximise your settings guide" and get 15-40fps. My specs are in my sig too. Will it be ok?
