What's going on team...I've been feeling good all week, went to the sack last night, tired but good.
Que the theme to the Sopranos ...woke up this morning and got myself a bot. How can a bug ....and how dare it....invade my old frame so fast ?
Pretty sure it wasn't incubating...didn't hear any eggs cracking in the night.
Anyway...great timing, a long weekend feeling like crap , knowing my luck Ill be ready to run a marathon on Tuesday ,which incidentally is about the amount of energy I expend at the Zoo I work at daily.

Ok bug,,,,lets do this :@

Get well soon, old mate

When I read your post, Marty, rather than the Soprano's theme, I started singing 'always look on the bright side of life'. The trick is to turn a bug into a positive, something which has become very important to me now with a grandson in kindergarten. If there's a bug out there, we'll get it. Luckily the family is part of a flu study, so every time I do a swab or have a blood test, they send me a gift voucher, which I use for my Xbox gamepass. So far I'm ahead of the game.

Stay hydrated, and keep away from kids!

I also thought this was gonna be about our resident "scenery developer Bot" aka Rob ...

Take care Marty, not sure what the weather's like down south this weekend but prolly best to keep out of it. Annoying how quickly things swamp us as we get older.

Unexpected hangovers are the thing I'm noticing lately, had two cocktails and two beers at a local bar on Friday and had a banger the next morning

Yeah, I'm not a huge fan of the ageing process. I'm fairly lucky in that I don't get many bugs at all. Even both Covid infections were mild, although my partner reacted badly when I passed them on  I did get regular snivels after completing a London tour of duty. Just the rapid change of climate. We have 4 grandkids now so it will be interesting to see how winter goes. 2 of them are in early childhood education. Bug incubators.
Hope you get well soon SP and that you are not too sick not be able to flight sim!

Are you "back on deck" now SP? My Son and his partner have been whacked with something similar. as well as more recently my partner's son and partner (and they are in their early twenties).
Out of action for a full week.

Not yet CP ...still not a 100%.
So much for being repaired by Tuesday <_< , 5 days now for goodness sake.
The hard part has been the super low energy levels .....pretty sure I'll flick it by Monday.

Yeah, it seems to take at least a week to come back anywhere near normal. Not as bad as Man Flu though! :D
