Just me and the lads at home for the month.
My partner is heading back to Japan to visit her Mum, returning on the 28th.
As we speak, she is winging her way across the Pacific, at 39000 Ft with a ground speed of 504kts....4 hours and 3500Kms to go, on ZK-OKN...ANZ99.(Thank you Flight Radar)
We have been in touch during the flight(which is amazing) ...last I heard, she cant charge her phone , and lunch wasn't that great...
She is on Qantas for the return flights , mainly to avoid the cluster f**k at AKL on arrival on her last 2 trips. Both times her flight was in early, but still missed the connection to CHC because of the delay at customs.
How hard can it be to set up a separate queue for transit pax ?
However...Kudos to the Air New Zealand check in assist team this morning ...at 0445, awake, polite, unlike myself...up since 0300
Will be an early night tonight and a sleep in...called in sick tomorrow, my mob owe me big time, so I'm taking some of it back.
