I need some advise from the hive mind.
I've been moving all my sim stuff to the other computer except for P3D. I was running v4.5, but just noticed that V6 is here.
Question one, is anybody here running it ? and if so, what is your opinion.
Question two, do you think V4.5 stuff will work? I miss all my Daks and Robs scenery....if not, I may just go for V5 in the interim.
Thanks in advance.

V6 is certainly the best so far, and the only one I own -- I've always used developer subscriptions, but I did buy v6. V6 is the first version with a 'personal' license, as opposed to academic, which is a small thing but one I appreciate.
However it does look like a lot of people are still waiting on addons to become native to v6, and so many developers have left P3D that they may never come. I can certainly say that for those Godzone folks.
I don't use P3D at all much, I don't think I've ever done a proper flight, but this is more comparing it to MSFS than other P3D versions. I recall the last flight I did in P3D I needed to fix my desktop resolution (normally 4K) which P3D switched to match its own, and I don't ever recall MSFS doing something this annoying.
So if you are wavering between v5 and v6, v5 may suit you better for a year or two, while developers sort themselves out.

I'm still running v5.3 Marty, it's been solid as for me now for ages. Haven't moved to V6 as a lot of addons not yet fully compatible so I'm gonna thrash v5 until I eventually do the flip to MSFS (waiting on a few aircraft there)

I have been running V5.3. Most of the time (what little I have) I'm on MSFS. I'm enjoying the eye candy, many of the add ons, and generally just getting to grips with it.
I'm mostly using the heavy tin in P3D.
