Creator2003 is an expert at it and had some pretty amazing ones on here. Give him a PM or something and Im sure he will help.

They're realitively easy to do. I used to animate 'stickdeath' a few years ago just using MS Paint and a GIF complier.
All you need to do is find the GIF complier software (I use Jasc Animation shop, you should be able to get it with the Painshop Pro trial), import your images into there, then play around with the timing and placement and you're set.
Not much of a tutorial, but it's relavtively easy to use software. Just be sure to keep your sizes low, because big animated GIFs can get quite big quickly.

lol, i started mike on the gifs ( i think ) if u want one made, pm me or mike and we'll make.
We both use Longtion GIF Animator ( payware aprox $63.00au )

yeah sorry only just seen this post ,i do mine alittle different i make 10 templates in photoshop with something different on each image then compile it with a gif complier .
there are opitions within photoshop to do the same thing but it far ezyier and quicker to use software thats only job is complile them
if you make ten plates up with images ,text ,and send them to me ill complie them for you kelburn .
but i recomend looking around for a bit of software so that you can do them from start to fin and learn the inside outs and all the fun stuff you can achive with gifs
