I got a virus from Flight 1

Yerp...Downloaded the LDS 767 purchasing program from their site a few hours ago, and as soon as I opened it my computer went crazy, and after many virus tests, it came out that the purchasing program had a trojan and a few backdoors.

I dont know if this was a one off (maybe some of you have had the same type of thing) or it could be more widespread.
Having no customer support is one thing, but putting malicious files into a file that has credit card numbers on it and other confidential things is not too bright.
I for one am not a happy man now, especially when you pay good money for these things.

OK so now has anyone here had a virus from something such as this, or am I the only one so far??

Well I'm not the most savvy internet security person but I've never noticed any trouble from buying Flight 1 products. Where should I look? I bought the Level D a few days after it came out, and about a month ago was my most recent purchase from them. I've never had a problem, but as I say, I might not know where to look. I would never have thought they would do that..

Used the Flight1 Installer a few times and never had any problems with it. Enjoy the LDS, its a great plane.

Yer im all calmed down now...just ordered the CD version off the flightsim pilot shop.

BTW has anybody ordered FSX yet?

i'm not pre-ordering until gameplanet has confirmed the prices, which probably won't be until a month or so before its release
