Nor-West conditions all day, and not a breath of wind, but a beautiful sunset, and in the other direction a Rainbow.
Sorry if the pics are a bit odd, one from my phone and one on the camera.

Absolutely.
The photo is a fleeting moment, though: the sun broke though the clouds to backlight the Poplars against the shadowed foreground.
Gone in a minute, but that's what makes photos cool.

My Back garden last September, before a countryside trip on my trusty Motorcycyle...!

A Double Rainbow in my back garden...>>>>

I searched for the pot of gold at the end of it, by my fence.

All I found was a pile of Crat Crap, from my neighbour's annoying Cat.

So much for Rainbows!.... :( ...!

Paul.... :uk: .... :D ....!

Hello Dean...!
I can remember as an 8-year-old evacuee from London, living in the wilds of the Herefordshire countryside in 1942, trying to find the ends of rainbows, when they appeared quite frequently at the time!
I could never find the end, probably because I was actually walking through the ends all the time!
The visible ends just got farther and farther away!

Vivid memories of my childhood during the War!

Paul...still trying to grow up!...... ... ...!

Paul, ahead of your time, as ever. I always thought that sort of activity was more of a Swinging Sixties pastime :wink2: :)

Hello Mike!
Swinging Sixties!
My enthusiasm for Flight Simulation started with "Flight Unlimited II" in 1995, spending lots of time around the San Francisco Bay area, the site of the original Flower Power People....remember the 1969 Beatles Concert at the Altamont Speedway Stadium in the Altamont Hills east of Livermore Airport!
.....>>>> https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Altamont_Free_Concert
Spent a lot of time "flying" around there!
It can still be seen' zooming down on Google Maps!
Lots of happy memories with; "Flight Unlimited II", and; "Pro Pilot Flight 99", etc, Sims!
Nowadays, I just watch Dorothy, chasing rainbows in; "The Wizard of Oz"...!
Paul.... ... ...!
