Clouds

I spend a lot of time just looking at clouds, as we all should, it's an amazing show. You know that the sky starts at your feet ...look up, it's good for your back.

Moving through the many sims I use, I sometimes get a little disgruntled with the clouds that are used in some of them ...but, today I sat back with my lunch and just watched. I'm always amazed to see a cloud just pop out of a clear blue sky, literally.

I saw Orbx theme 3, then REX set 40HD, then those odd pure white shiny types that show up in war thunder ...and even some "flat bottoms" from P3D... they're all out there..don't believe everything you read from these weather developer type people ...but if you wait (hard in these times ) you will see everything they say, isn't accurate. Don't get me started on sun glare ... :wink2:

Some of these, however, could have done with a contrast/gamma adjustment...but who am I to critique the big mans work. B-)

I've often looked at RW clouds and said to myself: "these wouldn't cut it on my flightsim!" ^_^

If there's a bit of Cu-nim around, get the binoculars out and have a look at the tops. In the season here, you can see the burgeoning with the naked eye, but up close through the binocs, it is very violent

'Propliner' is actually short for 'Proper airliner, with big rumbly radials'

Being a keen motorcyclist, and all my rides governed by the weather, (similar to Private Pilots), I am always fascinated by our clouds, with all their different names, types and shapes!
Like our lovely old Moon, the clouds above us in the sky are always fascinating to observe!

I spend a lot of time looking skywards, which sometimes leads to collisions with stationary objects!

Paul...with Lucy in the sky..with diamonds!... :D ...!
