Solstice Time again...

Postby Fozzer » Mon Dec 21, 2020 9:35 pm

Winter Solstice: 21st December.
The shortest day, and the longest night for all we Upper-Hemisphericals!
It's a damp, chilly, gloomy, time of the year for us!
What's it like for all you Lower-Hemisphericals, down under?
Nice and warm and cosy?

Xmas Day is on the way for all of us, when we eat lots of stuff, drink lots of stuff, and try to be merry, in the midst of this Virus Pandemic.

The only bright thing on the horizon; December the 22nd day maybe a little longer and the night a little shorter...
...otherwise, nothing much changes!

...I just have to remember to order the Xmas Turkey!

Happy Solstice and Crimbo to all my Chums!

Paul....in the Land of the Anglo-Saxons... :uk: ... :D ...!

Wow unbelievable that we are past the longest Southern Hemisphere day already!

I have been watching the Great Conjunction and for once Auckland skies have played the game.
Seems this is visible all over the world?
I can never figure out the geometry of these celestial events.

Charl! I spend far too much time every night, in bed, contemplating the mysteries of the Universe!

The dual Timegate Thrusters are still warm on my Inter-galactic Space Fighter on the bedroom floor after fighting off advancing Aliens attacking the planet Zorg in the belt of Orion when I wake up each morning!

Such a vivid imagination... :wink2: ... :wink2: ...!
