What pc racing games are around that have the same sort of career mode as Gran turismo?

Ive got:
GTR2
Need For Speed Most Wanted and carbon
RFactor
Evolution GT
Flatout 2
Lawnmower racing mania (It was free, what else can I say)

And yet, they all have a very crappy, some even have no, career mode.

My brother has "need for speed underground" witch doesn't work on my parants pc only on mine, I don't let him him have it installed for long as the only thing I like to have on my pc is fs

But he seems prety obsessed about the career mode thing when I do let him install it hehe..

I bought GT4 for the second time yesterday (or was it the day before?) becuase I sold it to buy FSX...its fricken sweet, but for PS2 only.

PGR3 (Project Gotham Racing3) for xbox360 has got a good career mode

V8 SC2 also has a good career mode, altho the graphics aren't as nice and the bathurst is messed up

yeah and it takes awhile to get extras and other bonuses even codes can be entered for cool stuff also very nice with a steering wheel setup for an afternoon

and you get lots of brand cars aswell :thumbup:

is there car upgrades?

Also, is it just Holdens and fords on those V8 car tracks, or is V8 supercars just the name? Also, is it on PC? Is there many addons available? Multiplayer?

car upgrades: for some series there are performance upgrades
v8s: the V8 supercars (fords and holdens) and the V8 development series use the real australian and NZ (pukekohe) tracks
there are other racing series, but for the most part, they have their own real world tracks (i.e. you can't race formula renault on bathurst).
on PC: yes
addons: no
multiplayer: yes

there's also a V8SC3 demo somewhere.
