One thing about this feat .. you look at the guys with all the techno in the back of the Lancaster .. and you see the Vulcan .. then you see the constant control and adjustment .. SO COOL!

Yeah! Here's this huge old jet, mushing around the sky so you can keep up in your Lancaster, and HERE IT COMES!
I wonder at what point your nerve goes, and you declare an emergency break despite the loss of face...

Great footage, thanks for the post.

Edit: I wandered about the IWM in London in my travels recently, they have the forward end of a Lanc in there.
Quite interesting to poke around, it's quite a tight fit, really.

This is one thing I wish I had .. a dang good camera but back in the mid 1980s they had not been invented them yet , .. It really is fun crawling through these bits and pieces.
