One of my moggys (Pratt ) has had a day at the vets , had 3 teeth removed , some blood tests and an xray . Hes overnighting and will be home in the morning (have to pick him at 0700 ...nice)
I just about passed out when they gave me the bill .... i was guessing maybe 4 to 500 ... anyway $1180 ! Im over it now .... but the phone repairs are on hold , and the beamer will have to wait another 2 weeks for a scan and tune .

But , you take on a pet and the responsibility and costs , but i wonder sometimes if the pet industry plays on soft owners . Just gave moggy # 2 (whitney) a quick check , and then got a bank balance .... hes just fine winkyy.gif

Ahhhh moggys.

Deleted you other one on this Marty
and yep I know what these vets sting you we took our old cat to the vets when he damages a vertebrae just above his tail in all there were 4 visits one xray and another final visit to put him down total cost $383 the only good part is it is probably saving us that much a year now in cat tucker.
The bad side is we still have two more cats left to deal with all these cats have been or are refugees been brought onto the Marae by other tenants or the family that has taken over this Marae and been abandoned and all came to us to be fed and looked after.

"and all came to us to be fed and looked after" know what you mean Big D .... my 2 guys have friends , that they invite in for food and a bed , really strange .... only since the quakes. Before that they would beat the cr@p out of any other mog that walked past the house . Called the vet to check on the furry guy (hes in the after hours place tonight) and he's good ... on a drip , but on the mend .

Least I have the foresight to put in a golden moggie door, and prepared with seal food on the shelf, a cats Hotel California !
