Question # 1 . For the Chinook DVD.
How many days left in this year ?

#2 Today (1936) in aviation history marks the first flight of which British Aircraft ? (for Steinhoff's book)

#3 The first jet powered bomber also flew on this day(1943) ... what was it ? (for B-24 CG slide rule)

1/ yes but don't forget leapyear plus a few hours.

2/ As Ian would say jimminy villickers or is that jiminy cricket not telling the truth

I'll give you that one Ian ..... its not the one i had in mind , but the question wasn't that specific (my bad) . The Lysander did indeed fly for the first time on June 15 1936 , and so did the Vickers Wellington.

Seems the flame is going out , so I'll add to the pot for the last question . I have a little "name plate" 7.5cm x 4cm , its a bit bent and battered .
But has "North American Aviation Inc. (Inglewood California) Model :Harvard 2 , contract # F-704 , Serial number AJ864 .

I was Hoping it may have egged legged some people along ... but really Cheers Marty , that really fit into some research I have doing regard to artwork- not different but to produce themes from the other side and really covering and building a history drawing as close as possible.

Your welcome Ian .... not many pics in the book , but the text will give a real insight to what it was like.
Seems question number 3 was a bit of a flop .... maybe I'll keep it to just one next time.

Congrats Owen and James, ....... sorry I had to get the book but you will get to see results in time, ... not that i need ideas but now I want to draw as close to something that follows axis history.

Marty, PC has to go to the shop tomorrow , going to use this PC to tweek the new incoming - you are going to love it, this is were the prize will help so Thank you very much thumbup1.gif
